YO HO HO ME HEARTIES!  PIRATE TREASURE HUNT ON BOARD THE MAID OF THE LOCH

On Saturday 2nd July, there will be a Pirate Treasure Hunt for children up to 12 years of age on board MAID OF THE LOCH, Loch Lomond’s Paddle Steamer.

Admission and entry forms are free, and there will be a prize for every correct entry.

“Hoist the Jolly Rodger!” ordered Pirate Captain John Beveridge. “Clues to the treasure will be hidden all over the ship. Find the clues, answer the riddle, and every correct answer will get a reward. It’s easy – come aboard and have some fun!”.

“There will be a special prize for the best dressed pirate at 1pm” added Cap’n John, “So come prepared!”.

The Maid is open from 11am to 4pm, and the Treasure Hunt will be on all day. For adults, there will be a tombola stall with all the profit going to the ship’s restoration. Meals, snacks, the bar, tearoom and shop will be open all day too.

Start the school holidays in swashbuckling style and walk the plank onto the Maid. She is at Balloch Pier, next to Loch Lomond Shores. The event is part of the SeaBritain series of activities being held this year.
