The Douglas Mickel Saloon is a sumptuous tartan carpeted room which is used for wedding receptions, and meetings. It takes its name from one of the founders of the Scottish house building firm MacTaggart & Mickel which sponsored its refurbishment.

The café/ bar is on the main deck at the bow. The Lomond Lounge serves meals, snacks, and teas & coffee. Or relax with something a little stronger, such as a whisky or lager. From home made soup and sandwiches to the hot dish of the day, there is something to suit everyone. The Queens’ Restaurant at the rear of the ship has been beautifully refurbished, complete with dance floor and central heating. It can seat 90 for a formal dinner, 110 for a buffet style arrangement, or 120 for a meeting with chairs arranged in rows.
